These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the ResumeTub browser extension and the ResumeTub website (together, the "Service"). By installing, accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. What ResumeTub is

ResumeTub is a browser extension that reads the subtitles of the YouTube video you are watching and inserts them, with a prompt, into the AI chatbot you choose (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Grok, Mistral) so it can summarize or analyze the video for you. ResumeTub is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube, Google, OpenAI, Anthropic, Perplexity, xAI, Mistral, or any other third party named in the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to form a binding contract in your country, to use the Service. By using ResumeTub you confirm that you meet these requirements.

3. License to use ResumeTub

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the extension for its intended purpose. You may not:

• copy, resell, sublicense or redistribute the extension or a license key;
• reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code, except where the law expressly allows it;
• use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in breach of a third party's terms (including YouTube's and your chosen AI provider's terms);
• circumvent, disable or interfere with the license check or the free-plan usage limit.

4. Plans, pricing and payment

• Free plan — usable at no cost, limited to three uses per day.
• Pro plan — $24.99 per year, billed as a single payment once a year. The price shown at checkout applies. Taxes may be added depending on your location.

Payments, billing, taxes and license keys are handled by our payment provider, LemonSqueezy, which acts as Merchant of Record. Your purchase is also subject to the LemonSqueezy terms.

5. Renewal and cancellation

The Pro plan is an annual subscription that may renew automatically each year unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through the customer portal link in your purchase confirmation email, or by contacting us. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not retroactively refund a period already paid, except as described below.

6. Refunds

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied, contact us within 14 days of your purchase at contact@resumetub.com and we will refund that payment. Refunds are processed through LemonSqueezy.

7. Third-party services and content

ResumeTub works alongside services we do not control (YouTube and the AI chatbot you choose). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, content, or output of those third-party services, including any summary or analysis produced by an AI. AI output may be incomplete or incorrect; you are responsible for how you use it.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service running but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Browsers, YouTube and AI providers change frequently, which may temporarily or permanently affect how the extension works. We may modify, suspend or discontinue all or part of the Service at any time.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements or that any defect will be corrected.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ResumeTub and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising out of your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including your statutory consumer rights.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the extension. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of France, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.
